The Coleman 4P Silver tent is a basic tent that is versatile enough for touring or camping. Our main criticism is that the materials used in the frame and fabrics aren't of the same class as some of the more expensive options. While it should stand up to basic weather we would question the long term durability. In saying that its easy setup and low price make this a good budget option.

Comfort - A mid size tent with a single room. We liked the airiness and light allowed in, and found the symmetrical space comfortable.

Construction - Basic polyester materials and a thin gauge steel frame. Not in the same class as some of the more expensive options - it’s a bit flimsy.

Features - Easy setup, decent ventilation, hook for lantern, power access point, 2 pockets with compartments and a small vestibule for extra storage as well if you are not using the awning. All the basic features you need.

Size/ Weight - Sleeping size of 5.3sqm, weight of 12.7kg and head height of 190cm. Can just fit a double and single airbed but no room for anything else, which was slightly tighter than other tents in this category. During setup we found it lightweight and easy to handle.

Versatility - Easy to set up, a symmetrical interior and vestibule make this a mid sized allrounder that will do the job for touring or camping.

Overall - Simple easy up touring & camping tent.
