Our Analysis & Ratings

The Zempire Evo TXL V2 Air really surprised us. The air frame and solid design get a huge tick from us. We loved the extra large family spaces and multiple bedroom configuration options. You could be happy in this thing even on a rainy day. With its simple setup and pack down this was one of our favourite tents for camping with the family.

Comfort - A large tent with a roomy feel, separate sleeping spaces, a lounge room and a semi enclosed outdoor area. Plenty of space for a large family - or just anyone whose kids are loud sleepers! (Speaking from experience here…)

Construction - This has been constructed with fairly high denier material and air tubing frame. We were pleasantly surprised with the strength and quality the structure provided - for an inflatable tent, it felt pretty solid.

Features - This tent has great configuration options, plenty of ventilation, lots of storage room and pockets. We love the adjustable sleeping space that lets you configure from two to four rooms.

Size/Weight - Sleeping size of 9.7sqm, weight of 34kg and head height of 210cm. While the sleeping size is 9.7sqm there is actually another room + an undercover outdoor area making for a massive space. Could fit four doubles or eight single air beds with room to move around. Feels like a mansion.

Versatility - Given this is an air tent it is very easy to setup and pack away. Excellent for camping, maybe ok for touring if you know you will have space at camp (and enjoy lifting 34kg in and out of your trailer day or two! Hey, it’s one way to keep fit on the road).

Overall - Excellent family camping tent.
